
Sharon Sikes, PMP, OPM3-CC, SSC and Chapter President has 32 years of experience in various project management areas with successful and sometimes difficult projects in government and private sectors.
Her industry experience includes construction, engineering, information technology, oil and gas, environmental/safety/health projects. Her most recent assignments were program management consulting to implement multi-million information security programs.
Sharon has been an active PMI volunteer since 1997 serving as: 1998 PMI Symposium Project Manager,1999 PMI Nominating Committee, received the 1999 Distinguished Contribution Award, 2000-2002 Seminars/ Symposium Management Advisory Group (MAG), 2000-2001 Central Illinois Chapter President, 2002-2003 PMI Ethics Appeals Committee, 2003-2004 PMI North American Conference Project Action Team (CoPAT) Team, and 2003-2006 President Troubled Projects SIG, 2007-present VP Administration for Trouble Projects SIG, 2006-present President PMI Olympia Chapter. She has attended the at least 20 PMI leadership meetings.
Samuel M. Howard Jr., MAS, PMP and Chapter Vice President, has 9 years of experience in project management areas with a concentration in Logistics Management as well as Aviation Project Management.
His project management experience in the industry includes implementation of a Crash, Fire and Rescue Plan of Gray Army Airfield (KGRF), Fort Lewis, WA where he is currently employed as the Sr. Air Traffic Assistant. Urban renewal of his local suburban community in Spanaway, WA as the President of that community’s Homeowners’ Association. Veteran of the United States Army as an Aviation Operations Specialist. He is a licensed Pilot and Airline Dispatcher with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and in 2008, completed his Master’s Degree at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Aviation/Aerospace Operations and a minor in Space Studies.
Samuel has been an active PMI member since the summer of 2009 hoping to implement a fresh perspective to the Chapter’s events.
Pam Rupert, Vice President of Marketing, Certified Human Resource Professional, has 14 years of experience working in all aspects of human resource projects including civil service reform.
Her public and private sector experience includes project management, program management, and development of customized HR & operating systems and business intelligence / data mining. She has authored several articles for public sector professional magazines and newsletters
Pam has been an active PMI volunteer since 2006 serving as PMI Olympia Chapter VP of Programs and current BOD Vice President. She coaches a high school girls swim team and is a swim official. She is also a volunteer at a local theater in Olympia.

Carol Baque, PMP, Vice President of Membership, has over 33 years experience working in all aspects of information technology projects, with more than half of that time in project management.
Her public sector experience includes the contracting, financial , justice, licensing, and social services business areas, both as an employee and as a consultant.
Carol has been an active PMI volunteer since 2006, serving as PMI Olympia Chapter VP Membership, which saw its membership grow 20 percent in 2007. She has also been a violinist in the Olympia Symphony Orchestra, performs with husband Joe and has actively worked in support of area youth swim teams.
Marie Finn, Vice President Administration, has 14 years of experience in various project and program management endeavors. She has worked in state government, health care and manufacturing. She is currently working as the DSHS IT portfolio manager.
Her industry experience has focused on work flow processes as a business analyst in both private and public sector. As a portfolio manager she is responsible for assessing project risk and severity levels, developing portfolio tools, and developing and maintaining portfolio policy and standards.
Marie has been an active in the Olympia PMI Chapter since 2005 and is currently VP of Administration. She is a founding member of the Washington State Portfolio Managers Forum. She was a PeopleSoft Northwest Regional User Group Board member.
Tuck Wilson, Vice President Facilities, MPA and Vice President of Facilities, has 30 years of experience in various project management areas with successful and sometimes difficult projects in government and private sectors.
His industry experience has focused primarily on high-end, mission critical building, operations and technologies including security, computer operations, software design, technical building design and implementation, facilities, and senior management. He has assisted domestic and multi-national corporations in designing, building, moving, and auditing multi-million dollar facilities and business practices as well as provided management, guidance and alternatives which increased their safety, security, and profitability. His project also won the 1994 PMI Puget Sound Chapter’s Team of the Year award.
Tuck has been an active PMI volunteer since 2007 serving as PMI Olympia Chapter VP Facilities/Operations. He also serves as a committee member with the Olympia Tumwater Foundation (a foundation dedicated to increasing educational opportunities for students & teachers).
Heidi Brownell, PMP and Vice President of Finance, has twelve years of experience in various project management roles in telecom, insurance, banking, and public sector projects involving infrastructure, software development (agile, waterfall, etc), and business process reengineering. Her experiences include leading teams and supporting and/or training project managers on project management tools (particularly rigorous use of Microsoft Project on large, complex projects) and best practices. Previously she was a high school English teacher. Currently she is a senior consultant with CGI.
Heidi has been a member of PMI Olympia since 2005 and is currently serving as Deputy VP of Finance. She is also a member of Soroptimist International of Olympia, a licensed foster parent, a wife, and a mother of three boys.
Gary Hudson, PMP, Vice President of Technology, has been involved in information technology for over 40 years. He has worked in both staff and consulting positions in a variety of industries.
Since beginning his career he has held positions from programmer to IT executive. For the past 12 years he has been working with government agencies in Washington, Oregon and California as a project manager and senior business analyst. He has consulted on IT Strategic Planning, IT Governance and Project Management Office engagements and participated in applications areas such as electronic procurement, contract management, offender management, and grants management.
Gary has been an active member of PMI since 2003 and has volunteered for the VP Technology position in 2009. This role involves supporting the chapter website and other technology based services. Gary was an member of the Vancouver, BC, chapter of the Canadian Information Processing Society (CIPS) from 1988 - 1997, and also served on their board.
Mustafa Mohamedali, PMP, M.ASCE, Vice President of Programs, has broad international Civil Engineering and Project Management experience. He has worked and travelled 27 countries on four continents, speaks five languages and can get by in a few more.
He has led and worked in diverse disciplinary, multicultural teams in fields like infrastructure engineering, risk management, and training with the philosophy that PM means managing people by building trust through hard work, empowerment and recognition. He is always looking for creative ways to improve processes and the final product and loves challenges.
Mustafa has been an active member of PMI since 2008 and was elected for the VP Programs position in 2009. This role involves organizing the monthly chapter meeting programs and speakers. He is also involved in developing the coursework for the PMP prep course.
Mukesh Dixit, PMP, Vice President of Professional Development, has overall 22 years of international experience with 13+ years in project management. He has strong technical background having managed engagements in teaching, software development, leading teams, project management, account management and management consulting.
He has a Master’s degree in Computer Applications with honors and has successfully led project teams in US and UK. He has managed various projects including software deployment in Hospitals, Clinics, NHS UK facilities, as well as custom software development in web technologies for both government as well as private clients. He has earned various awards for Project Leadership and Project Management in his previous jobs. He has been a part of Olympia Chapter meetings since 2006 and is currently a PMI Olympia chapter member as well as PMI member. He is one our instructors for the PMP prep Courses organized twice a year by the Chapter, teaching subjects such as, Integration, Scope and Risk Management.

Gordon Roycroft, PMP, PE, Deputy Vice President at Large, has 25 years of experience in various project management, higher education and engineering areas with project ranging from $100 thousand to $200 million and a current program with a value of $1.6 billion.
His industry experience has focused primarily on project development of transportation and infrastructure improvement projects. He has been instrumental in implementing leadership programs, knowledge transfer and skill development across a wide spectrum of learners.
Gordon has been an active PMI volunteer since 2007 and was recently appointed as Deputy of Professional Development. He is an active American Red Cross Blood Donor, having surpassed the 2 gallon mark.
