Scheduling PMP certification examinations has never been easier!

PMI is pleased to announce, that effective immediately, all eligible Project Management Professionals (PMP) and Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) candidates can now quickly and easily schedule, cancel and reschedule their certification examinations online at Prometric.

 

PMI PMP Continuing Certification Requirements Handbook.

The PMI Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) Handbook is available for download from the certification section of the PMI Website. Certified Project Management Professionals (PMP) should become familiar with the CCR program requirements in order to maintain their credentials. The Handbook can be found at PMI>Career Development.

 

PMI Certified Associate in Project Management(CAPM^®).

Designed specifically for project team members, the CAPM credential is aimed at improving overall project success by helping to ensure project management knowledge.

The certification cycle for the CAPM credential is five years. PDUs are not required to maintain the CAPM credential. During the fifth year of the cycle, individuals who hold the CAPM credential must:

 

Apply for re-certification

Re-take and pass the CAPM exam 

Agree to the PMI Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct

PMI Program Management Professional(PgMP^SM).

 

PMI's Program Management Professional (PgMP) credentialing service offers PMI's first credential designed to demonstrate project and program management skills. To be eligible for the PgMP credential, you must meet specific guidelines that objectively measure experience, education and professional knowledge, and undergo a rigorous application process as well as three assessments.
